A South Korean burger joint owner was baffled when world famous US Olympic snowboarder Shaun White came into his restaurant to try the $920 'Flying Tomato Burger,' named after Shaun's nickname. Although the burger was intended as a joke, Shaun White came and ordered it, taking pictures with the owners and enjoying his meal. He went on to win an Olympic Gold medal on Wednesday
The Burg Khalifa was available for attendees of the 'Eat the World DXB Festival' in Dubai's Burj Park on Friday. British food truck company 'The Roadery' developed the luxury burger with locals in mind. Named after the Burj Khalifa, the highest skyscraper in Dubai and in the entire world, the burger certainly lives up to the high standard. With a GDP per capita of over $43,000, the United Arab Emirates is one of the wealthiest countries in the middle east, and some of the citizens of Dubai won't even bat an eyelash when seeing the price of the Burg Khalifa.
Mercedes-Benz will pursue a differentiated strategic approach with its vans in the future. As presented last year (2023), the company is aiming for a premium strategy for its commercial vans. In the future, a focused luxury strategy will apply to all newly developed, privately positioned vans, as is the case for all Mercedes‑Benz passenger cars. The aim is to fully implement this strategic change with the introduction of the upcoming modular and scalable Van Electric Architecture – VAN.EA for short – from 2026. The new private midsize vans EQV and V-Class are an important milestone on this path. Both are further elevated with new exterior and interior designs. There is also an increase in comfort and safety, especially thanks to more intelligent, digital networking. The models have been available to order from Mercedes‑Benz sales partners and online since January 2024. The standard equipment has been comprehensively upgraded and thereby tailored more precisely to customer requirements. The new V-Class starts at a list price of 59,470.25 euros, the new EQV from 75,281.78 euros. The new V-Class also forms the basis for the V-Class Marco Polo camper van, which is offered ex factory. It starts at 80,004.89 euros1 and adopts the model's attractiveness almost completely.
Following the launch of the CX-60, the all-new Mazda CX-80 is the second of two new models for Europe from the company’s Large Product group. In conjunction with two-fold-flat third row seats, the CX-80 will be available with a choice of three second row configurations, including the choice of two separate captain seats combined with either a centre console or a walk through to the third row.The all-new Mazda CX-80 features technology appropriate for the flagship of Mazda’s European model range and includes three new features: a new Alexa in-car voice control, a new hybrid navigation system combining the advantages of both offline and online services, and a new Trailer Hitch View which uses the centre display and advanced graphics to help position the vehicle relative to a trailer.
