Abidjan, Jul 3 (EFE / EPA) .- Palm wine, known as "bandji" in Ivory Coast, is an alcoholic beverage obtained by natural fermentation of the palm sap. This drink is typical in most tropical regions and is widespread in sub-Saharan Africa. Adaye Koffi Celestin, 40, has been making palm wine since he was 25 years old.In Africa, bandji is consumed during vacations and gatherings. In addition to its taste, it is said to have therapeutic properties.The price of palm wine (Bandji) is 0.38 euros (250 CFA francs) in Ivory Coast.
