Harleth took the place of Angella Reid, who was hired during the Obama administration. The usher is responsible for the management of the building and oversees residence staff. Stephen Rochon was the chief usher from 2007 to 2011 and was by Trump to run the house. Rochon declined due to family reasons.

However, a source says Barr 'cannot be intimidated' by Trump and thinks the president's attacks are a 'deposed king ranting.' Trump has called a 'big disappointment' in a retweet of a message that suggested Barr should be fired immediately. The source says the public feud between Barr and Trump is like a 'cold war,' and that Barr is 'not someone who takes bullying and turns the other cheek.'

SNL's Alex Moffat, playing Sportsmax anchor Robert King, throws shade at "mainstream sports networks like ESPN," mocking Newsmax's attempt to take over the conservative news space. Moffat says "It's been reported that on November 29, the Jets lost to the Dolphins 20 to three."
The White House is desperate to announce the authorization of Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccine. Mark Meadows has reportedly pressured FDA Commissioner Stephen Hahn to announce the emergency authorization by the end of the day on Friday. Citing a report in the Washington Post, Business Insider reports that Meadows gave Hahn an ultimatum. Hahn either moves up the announcement or submit his resignation. This comes after President Donald Trump went after the agency on Twitter earlier in the morning, calling it "a big, old, slow turtle." Hahn denied the Post's report shortly after it was published, calling it "untrue." The White House declined to comment.
