Aston Martin DBS Preview at 2018 Paris Motor Show

Description

"For over half a century, the name DBS has meant just one thing: the ultimate production Aston Martin. A DBS is a distilled concentrate of all that has made Aston Martin not just one of the most coveted brands in the automotive sphere, but in all fields of endeavour, right around the world. Now the new DBS Superleggera has arrived. Its beauty leaves no room for doubt. Its power cannot be reasoned with. Unquestionably, DBS Superleggera sits at the pinnacle of the Aston Martin production range. It is both a shining light expressing the most beautiful automotive art and, at the same time, a dark and menacing shadow of brutal, unequivocal strength. It is this fine blend of seemingly opposing traits that makes the DBS Superleggera the absolute Aston Martin. Aggressive, yet beautiful. Super lightweight, yet powerfully strong. A commanding presence, yet lavishly finished."

  • American-Made Hennessey Venom F5 Supercar Unveiled at GIMS

The $1.6 million Venom F5 hypercar from American carmaker Hennessey made its 'global' debut at the Geneva International Motor Show on Tuesday. The carmaker claims that the F5 Venom is able to reach a top speed of over 300mph, which would make it the world’s fastest production vehicle. The lightweight chassis and carbon fibre bodywork give the F5 a curb weight of just under 3000 pounds, not the lightest supercar around. It remains to be seen whether the Venom F5 can actually deliver on the 300mph promise.

  • Is Bizarre Bulgarian Sin S1 the Ugliest Supercar at Geneva Motor Show?

Bulgarian supercar manufacturer Sin Cars presented their S1 prototype at the Geneva International Motor Show and it left many people scratching their heads. With non-symmetrical design, unusual driver side tires, and open frame, the S1 looks nothing like what you would expect from a turbocharged supercar, and it's drawn some heavy criticism for its original design. However, some have lauded the S1 for its audacity to move away from the mainstream. The S1 comes as an open-top or coupe and starts $49,900, packed either with an electric, internal combustion or hybrid engine.

As if rolling off of the set of a 1930s gangster movie, this stunning and original auto stood out from other supercars at the 2018 Geneva International Auto Show. Eadon Green's new retro-style coupe, called the Zeclat, was inspired by auto styles popular all the way back in the 1930s. The Zeclat is based on the Corvette C7 grand Sport and aims for a perfect combination of vintage style as well as modern technologies and power.
