A shop in Surat of India's western state of Gujarat is selling 24-carat gold sweets. According to the shop owner, they have many health benefits, but they come with a hefty price tag of $150.
Made from only the finest ingredients and covered in 24-carat gold leaf, one cheesecake whipped up in New York City's Ristorante Rafale on Wednesday has officially become the most expensive in the world. Celebrity Chef Raffaele Ronca received a Guinness Book of World Records title for the producing the world's most expensive cheesecake, which costs $5,000 per pie. The cheesecake includes eye-wateringly expensive ingredients such as 200-year-old cognac, white truffles from Alba, and, of course, 24-carat gold leaf.
These 24-carat gold moccasins definitely have the Midas touch. Designer Antonio Vietri, from the northern Italian city of Turin, showcased the world's first 24-carat gold woven shoes on Wednesday, which will be sold under the designer's label called 'Gold Shoes'.
