Taiwan military vessel sets off as China drills enter third day

A Taiwanese Tuo Chiang missile corvette sails out of the island's Suao Naval Base during a third day of China's military drills. China said fighter jets carrying "live ammunition" had conducted "simulated strikes" near Taiwan on Monday, while the US said its guided-missile destroyer sailed through waters claimed by Beijing in a "freedom of navigation" operation.
