Mel B talks voicing 'Fury' in Disney's Tinker Bell and the Legend of the Neverbeast

Description

Disney is proud to announce that Mel B has lent her voice to the character of ‘Fury’, a feisty Scout Fairy in their brand new movie Tinker Bell and the Legend of the Neverbeast which will be flying into cinemas 12th December 2015 – just in time for Christmas. “Fury, kind of suits me” said Mel B who had an absolute blast recording the role earlier this month. “My character has attitude. It’s like a mini me!” The new chapter in the hugely successful Tinker Bell series explores an ancient myth of a fabled creature whose distant roar sparks the curiosity of Tinker Bell’s good friend Fawn, an animal fairy who’s not afraid to break the rules to help an animal in need. But this animal—massive and strange with glowing green eyes—is not really welcome in Pixie Hollow, and the scout fairies are determined to capture the mysterious beast before it destroys their home. Fawn, who sees a tender heart beneath his gruff exterior, must convince Tink and the girls to risk everything to rescue the NeverBeast before time runs out. Directed by Steve Loter (Kim Possible) and produced by Makul Wigert (Secret of the Wings), Tinker Bell and the Legend of the NeverBeast also features the voice talents of Mae Whitman as Tinker Bell, Ginnifer Goodwin as Fawn, Rosario Dawson as Nyx and Angelica Huston as Queen Clairon. The all-new Tinker Bell film is about the relationship that develops between Fawn, a compassionate animal fairy who thinks with her heart, and Gruff, a massive beast with glowing green eyes who seems to be on a mission. “It’s a real action-adventure movie,” says Tunstall. “The characters are so cool. I was over the moon to take part. Disney Animation has such an incredible heritage of work, spanning decades, and it’s really special to be part of that.” Catch Mel B in 'Tinker Bell and The Legend of the Neverbeast' in Cinemas across the UK from 12th December 2014. • Anonymous - Roland Emmerich's 10 Reasons - in cinemas 28/10/11

Set in the political snake-pit of Elizabethan England, Anonymous speculates on an issue that has for centuries intrigued academics and brilliant minds such as Mark Twain, Charles Dickens, and Sigmund Freud, namely: who actually created the body of work credited to William Shakespeare? Experts have debated, books have been written, and scholars have devoted their lives to protecting or debunking theories surrounding the authorship of the most renowned works in English literature. Anonymous poses one possible answer, focusing on a time when scandalous political intrigue, illicit romances in the Royal Court, and the schemes of greedy nobles lusting for the power of the throne were brought to light in the most unlikely of places: the London stage.
