‘Paris committed to Syrian peace,’ French FM tells FRANCE 24

Description

The escalating clashes along Syria's border with Turkey reflect the need for a comprehensive peace plan for the war-torn country, French Foreign Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault told FRANCE 24 in a wide-ranging interview on Wednesday. Ayrault also touched on Europe's refugee crisis, the challenges facing a post-Brexit European Union, and the "puerile" burkini row that has dominated headlines in France.
