Beijing, Mar 2 (EFE/EPA).- United States multinational Microsoft warned Tuesday that state-sponsored hackers in China are targeting its business email product.Through "previously unknown" security flaws, the hackers could access Exchange Server, control the server remotely, then steal company data, Microsoft said in a blog post.This group of hackers, which Microsoft has named Hafnium, has previously sought to steal data from US organizations in fields as diverse as infectious disease research, law firms, higher education, defense contractors, think tanks and NGOs. General Motors gained as much as 8.9% to a record high on Tuesday. The gain comes on news that its autonomous vehicle subsidiary, Cruise, is receiving a large investment from Microsoft. Microsoft joins a number of companies in a $2 billion funding round for Cruise. Tuesday's price is a record-high for GM since it emerged from bankruptcy at the end of the Great Recession. The partnership will accelerate the commercialization of self-driving vehicles. It brings together the two companies' software and hardware engineering expertise, cloud computing capabilities, and manufacturing knowledge.

The multimedia software platform powered many pre-YouTube animated videos like Homestar Runner. But now, Gizmodo reports Adobe Flash is officially ancient technology. As of December 31, 2020, Adobe stopped supporting the software. Updating Windows 10 will only remove the Adobe Flash Player that was installed by your version of Windows—not if you installed it manually from elsewhere. Once the update is applied, Adobe Flash will be removed from the Control Panel. Windows 10 users will not be able to roll back the update. Users can also uninstall Flash via Adobe’s website.
