Renault revealed its new driverless concept vehicle called the EZ-GO at the Geneva International Motor Show on Tuesday. EZ-GO is a Level 4 driverless vehicle, so it can change lanes, turn at an intersection, and keep a safe distance from the vehicle in front of it. Users will be able to access the EZ-GO from an app or from fixed locations and will enter through a hatch which opens at the front of the vehicle, which also make the auto wheelchair accessible. The EZ-GO can accomodate up to 6 people at a time and features a U-shaped seating arrangement, making the ride a social experience.
Toyota's spectacular GR Super Sport concept was unveiled at the 2017 Tokyo Auto Salon last weekend. The GR Super Sport appears to draw inspiration from Toyota's LMP1, while using the same main components as the TS050 Hybrid. It's powered by a twin-turbo 2.4-liter V-6 hybrid system developed from the Toyota TS050 Hybrid’s powertrain and produces 986 horsepower. Is this the future of Toyota racing?
A stunning new concept car called the Isabella was unveiled to the public at the Frankfurt Motor Show on Tuesday. Made by lesser known German manufacturer Borgward, the Isabella is a luxurious electric car with four doors that slide out horizontally, meaning that drivers and passengers will never again have to worry about hitting their doors as they step out of the vehicle. Its modern and futuristic interior doesn't contain any buttons or nobs, instead, all the functions of the Isabella are managed from a big touch screen display.
Japanese car-manufacturer Toyota showcased their rugged FT-4X concept SUV at the New York International Auto Show on Wednesday. The adventurous auto has been designed with Millennials in mind and has been described as a 'rugged rolling toolbox.' It has interior door handles that double as water bottles, warm and cool storage boxes, a ceiling-mounted flashlight and a sleeping bag that fits between the seats and serves as an armrest. US automaker Chevrolet unveiled their new Camaro, the 2017 Z/28, which premiered at the New York International Auto Show on Wednesday. Just like the original Camaro, Chevy's newest road monster is designed for adrenaline rushes with performance in mind, but it can easily play nice on the city streets thanks to adjustable suspension.
