The Toyota Crown offers two electrified powertrains, including the Hybrid Max system, and standard AWD across all grades. With its massive wheels, sleek and aerodynamic shape, the Toyota Crown is a ride that immediately catches the eye.Available in three grades: XLE, Limited and Platinum, Toyota Crown will offer a choice of two different hybrid powertrains: Hybrid MAX or the Toyota Hybrid System (THS). Hybrid MAX is Toyota’s performance hybrid that has 340 net combined horsepower and a net 400 lb-ft. of torque. Exclusive to the Platinum grade, it pairs front and rear electric motors with a 2.4-liter turbocharged engine and direct shift 6-speed automatic transmission. Hybrid MAX produces powerful torque at low RPM for sporty, exhilarating driving and has an EPA-estimated 30 MPG combined city/highway fuel economy rating.
Volkswagen is continuing to ramp up the speed of the electrical transformation: the latest hardware and software updates to the ID.3, ID.4 and ID.5 are now set to be followed by the start of series production of the brand new ID.7. Measuring almost five metres long and equipped with the best convenience features, the ID.7 is a Volkswagen positioned in the upper mid-size vehicle class. Here, it impresses with a new high-efficiency drive, long ranges, quick charging, generous space, a brand new high-tech interior concept and a high quality standard. The new electric drive motor is the central module of this efficient drive unit. It is the most powerful and highest-torque electric drive motor in a Volkswagen ID. model so far. The lithium-ion battery located in the sandwich floor is responsible for energy supply in the ID.7. On board the launch version of the ID.7 Pro, the battery offers a net energy content of 77 kWh. A second version of the battery with an even greater energy content is set to follow. The ID.7 Pro with its 77 kWh battery already underlines its suitability for long-distance driving with a combined WLTP consumption of 16.3 to 14.1 kWh/100 km and a WLTP range of up to 621 kilometres.
Touareg, Volkswagen’s flagship SUV for more than two decades, underscores a proud tradition of quality, capability and comfort that is synonymous with the marque and its extensive array of cutting-edge passenger cars. Comfortably more than 1.1 million people worldwide, including about 58,200 in the UK, have enjoyed the luxury and style afforded by three generations of Touareg over the past 21 years, and that number is set to continue to grow with the arrival, in October 2023, of a comprehensively updated new model.Always a showcase for the latest in Volkswagen technical developments, the Touareg now debuting in UK showrooms exhibits an array of high-tech features, many offered as standard, that once again help define the car as an engineering tour de force.Among the many highlights, today’s Touareg includes the option of newly-developed IQ.Light HD LED matrix headlights which use 38,432 LEDs to turn night into day. Three light modules in each headlight create an unmistakable design and allow various light functions to be used. They also project a lane of light ahead of the driver to provide maximum visibility without dazzling oncoming traffic. Upgraded running gear and further enhanced comfort on- or off-road add to the appeal, while the new Touareg’s renowned towing capabilities of course remain.A redesigned front-end features, for the first time on Touareg, an illuminated horizontal strip in the radiator grille. A similar illuminated line at the rear also offers a first, in the form of a red illuminated Volkswagen logo on top-end variants. Fresh 20-, 21- or 22-inch alloy wheels add to the updated exterior appeal while, inside, Volkswagen has enhanced the Touareg for added comfort on long journeys, including softer armrests and padding on the centre console to cushion knees from bumps. New door panels, also made of a foamed material, come with attractive double decorative seams.
With its latest MEB model, Volkswagen has responded to customer feedback and improved the user experience. For instance, the ID.7 can detect when the driver is approaching with their key and can start to cool the interior on hot summer days or heat the interior on cold days before the driver gets into the vehicle. Newly designed “Smart Air Vents” control the flow of air and move dynamically to distribute the air over large areas as quickly as possible.If there are passengers in the car, the air can be directed straight to the body or ventilate the interior indirectly. These functions are visible at all times on the new large display and can be activated and saved individually for each user. Special requests can be activated using voice commands. If the user says “Hello Volkswagen, my hands are cold!”, the ID.7 responds by starting the steering wheel heating function. At the same time, warm air is directed towards the driver’s hands.
The interior is refined, among other things, by seats in black ArtVelours with the "R" logo in the front seat backrests and the "R" multifunction sports steering wheel with large shift paddles for the DSG. Also standard: aluminum applications in "carbon style" and an additional "R" layout for the digital instruments ("digital cockpit"). The decorative stitching on the seats and the front armrests, as well as the gear lever cover and the leather sports steering wheel are set off in the blue typical of the Volkswagen R. The interior of the center steering wheel bezel is also blue. The standard ambient lighting can also be set to a matching blue (one of 30 colors). A sports seat system with integrated headrests (front) is also available as an option; the leather of these nappa carbon seats has a carbon look in the area of the side bolsters.
Volkswagen brought the new Arteon to market last Autumn, and with it an additional body variant: the new Arteon Shooting Brake. Now the powerful top models have been added, and their key data is impressive: acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds, an optional increase in maximum speed to 270 km/h, plus permanent all-wheel drive with the sophisticated R-Performance Torque Vectoring technology, which distributes power individually between the rear wheels and enables even higher cornering speeds.The exclusive R colour Lapiz Blue is available for both body variants. The high-performance braking system with blue brake callipers and R logo and the distinct front air intakes not only look good, but also enhance performance. The suspension is tuned for a sportier drive, and the DCC adaptive dampers can be steplessly adjusted using the touchscreen in the cockpit. The driver can select Comfort, Sport, Race or Individual driving mode using the R button on the steering wheel – and the list of benefits does not stop there.
