The Palazzo Avino, overlooking the Gulf of Salerno in Ravello was once a 12th century Patrician residence belonging the to Sasso family. Purchased by a rich industrial family, it has welcomed, as early as the mid 19th century, celebrities including musicians, writers, movie stars and the crowned heads of Europe. This authentic, luxurious and sophisticated hotel offers all the modern comforts of a palace in a building steeped in history. The 43 extremely refined rooms and suites, decorated with Vietri earthenware, antique carpets, linen fabrics and Bulgari furniture, offer guests a magnificent view of the Mediterranean. And for local Campanie cuisine, try the Rosselini restaurant and the regional dishes prepared by two starred chef, Pini Lavarra.
